  This is not a fancy place, but its clean and I feel safe staying there as a woman traveling by myself. I appreciate the value too. I can stay two nights there for what it would cost me for one night elsewhere. The hotel staff is nice and helpful.

  Room apparently re-modeled a couple of years ago. had 2 double beds, table and 2 chairs, microwave and refrig. heater worked. placed in room we requested and check in ...

  Room apparently re-modeled a couple of years ago. Had 2 double beds, table and 2 chairs, microwave and refrig. Heater worked. Placed in room we requested and check in was fine. Locks were old and dead bolt on the door did not close. Unfortunately the bathroom did and I couldn't get out for 15 minutes. Door handle was very old and did not turn the latch from the inside. Reception desk inept and gave us some scotch tape to perform our own repair. Usually we pack our own duct tape on trips, but forgot this time. We were entertained by 4 four guys testing a case of beer on the balcony outside their room and ours. It was 40 degrees for those two hours. Eventually they succumbed to the elements.

  You can't beat this hotel for the price. The room was extremely clean and kept that way. The front desk was hepful and nice. The breakfast is adequate. It was a pleasant surprise.
