I stayed there by myself, for two nights. The room was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable. I parked my motorcycle outside my window, and felt very safe leaving it there. The security was good, with the room card system and even though the motel is on the main drag, it was quiet. They had a free breakfast which was good, food fresh and good coffee. I enjoyed my stay there.

This hotel is great value. There is a basic breakfast offered for free (coffee, donuts, fruit). The room has a fridge and microwave and walking distance to convenience stores, several chain restaurants, a grocery store, and WalMart. The room was clean - the bathroom could use some updating (new grout), but it was clean enough to shower in. We stayed one night and were visiting New River Gorge area, which is about a 20 minute drive away. The only complaints I have are very minor (at least they are minor if you're not staying for a long time). The hotel is set up a little odd - we had to exit the building to get to the lobby and the front desk staff was a little slow (we had to wait in line for about 15-20 to check in because there was only one person working and the person ahead of us in line hadn't pre-booked). Also, house keeping did knock on our door at 9:00 am-ish, which seemed rather early to us (we didn't put the do not disturb sign up because it was just an over night trip and were checked out by 9:30). In addition, the room didn't have an iron and the beds were on the firm side.

Good location near restaurants and shopping centers in picturesque area of West Virginia. Service excellent, room clean, and bed firm and comfortable. Did not hear any outside noises for a very quiet, restfull sleep. Limited breaskfast items but plenty of full service restaurants nearby. Will definitely book here again when travelling through this area.
