The biggest problem with this hotel is that we did not feel safe here. There were many seedy looking people that appeared to be living at the place. They didn't appear to be the average tourist and just hung out, watching other people. At night, a security guard patroled the place, but there were still loud obscenity filled arguments, thrown bottles, gunning engines and loud music all through the night. We dead bolted our door and hoped for the best. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but smelled of smoke. There were cigarette burns in the furniture and blanket. The room was reasonably clean, but run down. The price advertised on the sign out front was $* dollars or so less than what we paid through hotels.com, which was also non-refundable. I do have to say that the staff was very pleasant and helpful, but the look on the faces of some of the other tourists checking in reminded me of a deer caught in the headlights. I think they were scared to stay here too.

the room was a smoking room im not a smoker i didnt think it would be that bad but i was wrong i thought that an establishment would try to make a room good for smokers or non smokers in case a non smoker got a smoking room because it was all that was left but this room was so sickening i couldnt get rid of the smell i tried fabreeze and other stuff and couldnt,and all my clothes and everything i had with me stunk of smoke even a smoker would say it stunk.

The room smelled like smoke even though it was supposed to be a smoke free room. The bed was old and extremely uncomfortable. Even the pillows were bad. The TV didn't work as there was much static.

We stayed at this hotel from Sun to Fri March 1-March 6 2009. It was clean, safe and the Manager was fantastic. He went above and beyong to help us out. very friendly staff. It was centrally located to everywhere we went. This totally met our standards.
