On arrival at the hotel we were told that they did not have a reservation. When I produced the computer printout of our reservation they suddenly located our reservation, telling me over and over again how lucky we were as this was their last room. Told to drive around behind the pool (which appears permanently closed) to the back building. Upon doing so we were greeted by yellow caution tape strung across all the patios of the units on the first floor, including our room. No On entering the hallway we were assaulted with the horrible stench of stale cigarettes and food, open doors to rooms crammed with families, and people in the open doorways smoking - this hotel appears to be a welfare hotel. It certainly did not make us feel comfortable or safe. The toilet had a brown ring around the top of the water, there were brown smudges on the bottom of the tub and cigarette burns on the tub sides, the shower didn't work, the sink faucet poured water out onto the floor every time you turned it on and worst of all, there was black mold growing out of large areas where the wallpaper was falling off the walls. There was no working fan for ventilation in the bathroom, no working smoke detector in the room, and the cable was not hooked up for the TV. I went out and purchased cleaning supplies and scrubbed the bathroom but still wouldn't sit in that tub. I think they may have renovated a few rooms and that's why the other reviews were OK, but unless you see the room first, don't agree to take it.

The staff was very accomadating. Our room was as expected in an older motel. The room was clean and pleasant best of all the heat was working. Since it was quite chilly this was a marvelous feature. Overall our 2 night stay was comfortable and worry free.

The room was much nicer than expected. It was large and looked out over a grassy area with a stream. Very relaxing and pleasant. Also clean & comfortable. Excellent value for a reasonable price. Probably would not have been as nice to have a room in front that looked out on the parking lot.

Well, we were staying in the Kingston area, and looked up a hotel on the internet. This one seemed nice and the price was right .. wow .. even Jacuzzi rooms! -- DO NOT BE FOOLED! --
This was the WORST hotel I have ever stayed at!!!! First of all the pictures shown on the internet ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE to what the hotel or the rooms look like. Blatant False Advertising!
The "jacuzzi" rooms were not jacuzzi rooms at all, there was simply a large bathtub with jets that was in the bathroom, not right in the room as the photo shows!!! Oh and of course, the jacuzzi in our room DID NOT WORK! Oh but read on ... it gets BETTER!!!!
There are NO clocks or radios in ANY of the rooms.
There are NO "Do Not Disturb" signs in ANY of the rooms.
Both of these, we were told, are "policy" at that hotel.
The TV reception was horrible in both of the rooms we had.
There were nails sticking out of a dresser in the room.... real safe for our 8 year old daughter.
One of the drawers had a half smoked cigar in it ... and of course this was in a non-smoking room.
Light fixtures were falling off the wall... nice.
We got out of there as fast as we could, and when we brought all of this to the attention of the person at the front desk we were attacked with RUDE obnoxious screaming.
