Location. The Caledon Hotel, Spa and Casino is located in Caledon, South Africa, 75 metres from the Caledon Hot Springs, three kilometres from the Caledon Botanical Gardens, and three kilometres from the Die Venster rock formation.

Hotel Features. This modern hotel is situated in palm tree planted gardens, and has views over the mountains. The fully restored Victorian bath house features mineral rich hot springs, and a 12 metre cascading pool, and massages and treatments are on offer. There is also a separate children's pool, an outdoor pool, and a casino.

The Caledon Hotel offers an à la carte menu at The Black Sheep Diner, and Sunday lunch, a buffet dinner, and a complimentary breakfast are served at The Blue Crane. Informal Italian style dishes are offered at Da Vinci.

Expert Tip. The seven thermal springs at the Caledon are warmed by contact with rocks heated by pressure deep under the ground, to a steady temperature of 49.5° Celsius. Free of any organic matter, they were awarded first prize as the world's top quality mineral waters at the Chicago World Fair in 1893.
