After having stayed at the Kendall a few times this year I am headed back there again this weekend. I love the cozy welcoming feel of this hotel. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and very friendly but not intrusive.The rooms are very comfortably appointed neat and clean. The Black Sheep restaurant has an intimate bistro feel. I enjoyed my breakfast in front of the beautiful fireplace during my last stay and I hope to do that again.

This is a Great hotel for the money and less than a block from the red line subway stop for the T. Most of the trolley tours also stop at that location so it's very easy to get in Boston and around the area. Definitely not a chain type hotel, which is a definite plus! The hotel staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice and convenient. Everything was well prepared and the staff was very good in keeping everything stocked. Legal Seafood has a location across the street. Parking is onsite in the garage below the hotel and is very limited. The spaces were VERY tight, anyone not comfortable maneuvering in tight spots will find parking here a challenge.

This location is very convenient and the appointments are charming. They are less than a block from the T-Stop and offer free parking if you are silly enough to bring a car to Cambridge or Boston. The rooms are small but very clean and appear to be recently updated. The staff is friendly and very accomodating. Our room included free breakfast and it was outstanding-fresh, plentiful, and tasty. We did not eat dinner at the hotel but it is available. The are several good restaurants within walking distance. The hotel offers several comfortable sitting areas for meeting others, reading, or people watching. It would be an excellent choice for business or pleasure

I make it a habit to stay at the Kendall each time I visit my daughter at Harvard. Love the charm of the hotel, the free breakfast still shows care and quality, and the location near the T rocks. Each room is comfy, and carries a little bit of firehouse magic in every corner.
