We checked in on a Thursday night. As soon as we arrived to our room we were greeted by a huge waterbug the size of my blackberry! We contacted the front desk and they did send someone up to kill the bug, but when we requested a room change the front desk was very rude and unaccomidating. The next day our shower didn't work and the day after that our toilet stopped flushing! It was just one thing after another. For the amount of money we paid per night we expected better service. For $75 more we could've stayed at the Fountainbleu for petes sake!!

My wife and I have stayed at several different hotels along Ocean Drive - very high end ones (Tides, Betsy) and some older less expensive ones (Winterhaven). The Park Central is older (hallways a little dark, bathrooms small) but is very clean, has a small pool, and has a great location - we loved it and will definitely return.

My wife and I did a last minute long weekend in South Beach. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is across the street and the towels and beach chairs are complimentary! We found the location of Park Central Hotel to be perfect. You are in the middle of all the action. We found two great lunch/breakfast shops around the corner if you want to take lunch to the beach. There is a walgreens is around the block too. For the value and location will will be back.

I have been traveling to miami for the past 8 years. Each year my hotel stay was ok. But park central was the best by far. The staff was accomadating. Upon arrival we received complimentary drinks of our choice, the queen room was a nice size, sun deck on roof was nice as well with complimentary yoga and movie at nights. The resteraunts on the site were well priced and delicious. We received complimentary beach chairs and beach towels. Our stay was fabulous. Even though we were station on ocean drive the hotel itself was quiet. The hotel interior gives you a havana feel. There were no hidden charges either which is always a plus. Looking forward to staying here again in 2012
