  A week later they spent the night there en route back to Lubbock, my wife's mom came along for the drive home. 10 minutes after they checked out, my mother in law realized she left her iphone, they turn around, go to the room, the maid is already in there, says she never saw a phone. They confront the maid, she leaves to get her manager, meanwhile they try calling the phone. 3 times the phone rings, then after 3 attempts it goes straight to voicemail. It had been shut off. While they were talking to the manager, the maid disappears, is nowhere to be found. Several minutes later the maid comes back. She claims that the family made several trips up and down the stairs and that their door was not locking (we all know hotel doors are heavy and typically lock by themselves). Then the maid claims that right after the family left, there was a guy in the hotel going through rooms (if so why weren't police called)? So my wife called the police and they filled out a police report. Maid claimed again that the hotel door to the room was not locked and that a man was going through rooms. Well the general manager had to come up from Albuquerque in order to view the security tapes. Security tapes show that the maid was the ONLY person to enter the hotel room, and that she used her key card to get into the room. So the employee has already been caught in a lie. The hotel has not terminated the employee, and at this point they are now questioning our story, saying we have no proof an iphone was ever in the room. . HORRIBLE!

  For the very affordable price, this is one of the nicest places I've stayed. It was very clean, nice pool and spa, convenient dining and friendly, helpful staff! I will only use this hotel next time I'm in Farmington on business!

  I was not able to access the wireless that was promised. A box was provided and when I hooked up the best I could get was a very weak signal that would not allow me to open my email. Rips in carpet in room and noisy A/C unit. The breakfast buffet was minimal and they ran out of milk. Could be kept up a lot better. A mattress pad that does not attach to the mattress was on the bed. It would move around. I asked the maid if I could have one that attached and she said they were reserved for the suites!

  You could pay more and get a higher-end hotel, obviously, but for the price this is a great hotel. very clean, great customer service, nice breakfast buffet, great location.
