My husband booked this hotel for our wedding night (11/7/2009). The hotel was nice and the staff were pleasant however when we arrived and checked in (still in our wedding attire) they gave us the wrong room and we actually walked into someone else

My husband and I had an amazing stay at the Westin, it is right on the Riverwalk and in a great location. Parking was right across the street. The room was outstanding and the balcony view over the Riverwalk was breathtaking.

We stayed at the Westin Riverwalk for our quick and easy mini anniversary getaway. We parked our car across the street and never used it again. Hotel was at perfect location on riverwalk, could go out the doors by river and turn right or left and be a few feet within many restaurants and night spots. Too many to visit or eat at in two nights. Could also step out street level and take trolley or bus to Alamo, Market Square for shopping or just walk around. Westin staff very friendly, nice pool and work out area. Our room was not riverview but didnt mind, we were not there very much. Shower head amazing and beautiful bathroom. Would return there, nice lobby area to and many quaint sitting areas overlooking river.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and considerate. I would stay in this hotel again. The only thing I was unhappy about was the fact that the hotel charges $* for a 15 minute time period to use their business center. Most hotels give this complementary. Westin needs to get with the program!!!
