  The Thorntree Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The food and accommodations were fabulous, the staff was friendly. The River Boat Cruise was a perfect way to spend our first evening and see the River. There were a wide variety of activities yards from the lodge. The Lion Encounter was well worth the visit. The Elephant walk was also fun and entertaining. Oh and you get the up close viewing of the Hippos at night as they come out and feed on the lawn of the lodge, no worries there are plenty of security men to keep you safe! They have transportation in to town although I found it a little pricey, but we need not have need or desire to go other than for activities, some of which included transport in their cost. Rafting down the Zambezi was one of the most thrilling extreme adventures I have ever done, but not for the faint of heart! I would highly recommend the Lodge! Julie B. Denver, CO
