OK for a short stay

The room itself wasn't bad at all. In fact, it was pretty good for the price. Two issues with the room was the heating. It didn't seem to work more than 3 feet away from the heater. Minor inconvenience, but an inconvenience nonetheless. The electrical outlet near the heater didn't work, as didn't the lamp (plugged into the same outlet). Due to that, I had to pick up the table where my computer would be and move it close to an outlet that did work, which was the one near the bathroom door. I broke one of my basic rules, which is to ALWAYS bring an extension cord. I should've just bought one at Wal-Mart, but I already have a million of them at the house. Location wise, it's in a good spot. There's a nightclub (with an ATM) as soon as you walk outside. On the other side of the overpass is where everything's at. Wal-Mart, Applebees, Office Max (or was it Staples?), etc. One exit down on I-40 is more restuarants and other conveniences (gas, other hotels). Not a whole lot went on as far as a bad crowd or rowdiness. Then again, my visit was during a snowstorm (I had no power at home). Having a club close by can be good and bad. I could've asked for another room due to the heater not working, but I toughed it out. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and checking in and out was a breeze.

When we arrive the outside of the motel was under construction. Some of the stucco had been tracked into the room. The carpet was needed cleaned. Although the plumbing fixtures were clean, the grouting around the floor looked like a child had done the work. The exaust fan did not work and there was loose paint aroung the fan. When painting was last done the painter did not mask the frames or the fixtures making it a very poor job. I will not stay there again.

This hotel was way better than i thought it would be had to book something at the last second at the airport and what a lil jem this place was. Beds are soft and clean roos are large Cable was like being at home minus the HD ;) And fir those looking for a cocktail after work there is a bar/resteraunt right next door with decent prices jsut bring a collard shirt, their dress code.

Tiles loose in batroom, wires pulled loose from wall air conditioner, bed sheets not really clean. Room needed a deep cleaning, the everday vacuumeing is just a touch and a swipe. It is not a place I would leave my wife alone, or my daughter or my grande daughter. I would not return, even if it was free.
