Right off, we had to go to the front desk to ask for towels. They said they had been so busy they didn't have time to completely service the room. Continental breakfast? Juice and a danish. We will stay elsewhere next time.

This hotel is close enough to walk to Fisherman's Wharf. Coming back is all uphill, so I hope you're in shape. If not, you will be when you get back to your room. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was willing to give us directions and highlight cool places to go. We asked for extra towels and a pillow and they arrived within minutes. My wife and I come to the city every year, so we'll be back.

STAYED THERE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS NEW YEAR'S DAY 2009. ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS, AND COVERED GARAGES OUR DAUGHTER'S CAR WAS BROKEN INTO AND RANSACKED. VALUABLES WERE NOT MUCH BUT THE SIMPLE FACT THE MANAGEMENT WAS SO NON-CHALANT. ONE COMMENT FROM A STAFF MEMBER WAS THAT THEY HAD HAD BREAK INS OFTEN. SO TRAVELER BEWARE!!!

I had called before I made my reservation about 2 months prior to confirm details about the hotel. I asked about the parking and was told there would be no fee and there was plenty of room to park. When I got there, we were told there was a parking fee that they had started awhile back. When I told the girl about my conversation on the phone, she wrote No Fee for Parking on my reservation. No one contacted me otherwise. When we were checking out, we were told we had to pay $12 a day plus tax for parking. Someone had whited out the ""no fee"" and wrote over it the fee. They would not budge. I talked to the manager and he said it does say other fees may apply and the site has added the fee statement to it now. I feel I was lied to and treated unfairly. The office staff was not friendly and rude at times. Also, the breakfast was watered down orange juice and packaged pastries. It was bad and my kids wouldn't even touch them. The location was ok and the rooms were good size but the noise was bad and they had a carpet dryer going all night in the hall way outside our room.

The room was really clean. We stayed in one of their suites that only had a shower. I was a little shocked they charged $22 per day for my Yorkie though. He didn"t even get his own own room for that. $13 a day for parking too.
