This is the noisiest, dirties, place I have ever stayed in. The regular rooms have NO room at all to move around or even pull your luggage in. This place my be cheap, but that is what you get. It isn't worth it. This place is GROSS and Travel Website shouldn't even offer it to people. Scary neighor good, the front desk people aren't nice, people outside all night long, you can here noises from all sides of your room and above your room.

Lot's of homeless and bum's around the property. Had to Walk 1.6 miles for a restuarant at 9pm very few choices in close proximety and all but 1 burger king were closed. The "Continental" breakfast was toast and banana's. Travel Website does not indicate that you will have to pay for parking on top of your hotel price so the stay is not reasonable for what you get. Stayed ONE night but had to pay for TWO days of parking. Buyer Beware!! Site claims that it is recently renovated but we could see no signs of update. Very old. No heat or a/c, just a fan and a heat disk...seems dangerous for a hotel. Also, no tub, just a shower. Front desk wouldn't let us use a restroom in the lobby. No public restrooms in lobby.

This was one of the worst hotels I've experienced in 30 years of travel. It was a last resort choice due to several expositions in town, plus the usual summer tourist traffic. And it was a mistake. At a rate of almost $*, this is a complete rip-off. It took over an hour to check-in, with an unorganized and flustered clerk trying to help 4 others who got there just before my arrival. I was propositioned before I could get to my room, then had to call maintenance to come finish a bath tub repair that evidently had started that morning. The tile floor was sticky, the sheets were stained and the noise level was unbearable. To top it off, the electric fuse blew everytime something was turned on. The extension cord system would make a fire marshall have nightmares. Altogether, an unsafe and unclean property that Travelocity should drop from its listings. The reviews are true and you should stay elsewhere!

I stayed there 2 nights with a friend, the experience was awful! The room came with space heaters and was always freezing! We complained to the hotel, they just gave us 2 crappy blankets and another space heater, which was half broken! The hairdryer didn't work, when I tried to plug it in again, it sent out sparks. The repair man came and put in a new hairdryer, when I used it, the whole power went out in the room! Everything was plugged into an extension cord, which was plugged into another extension cord, which was very unsafe! We were afraid to sleep through the night with the space heaters on for it could cause a fire, so we froze every night and ended up not sleeping well! I would recommend staying someplace else for a little more money! I definitely do NOT recommend this place, I have been using Travelodge for many years, and this has been by far the worst travelodge hotel I have every stayed at!

I use this hotel about 2x a year. I've never had any problems. It is right on Market St. and has access to the main public trans system. Don't expect much: smallish room, a fan on the wall, small bathroom, fridge. But for where it is and the cost it is a very good deal- San Francisco is a premium city $.
