good hotel for value excellent location
05/02/2012I was in town by myself for a class the travelodge was an excellent value for what i needed. the room reminded me of one from national lampoons vacation.

I have mixed reactions. While the staff and price was great, the room was outdated and lacked privacy. On our way to our room, we had to step over bloody sheets in the hall way. In our room, the large plate glass window of our room was only covered by lenghtwise blinds, which did very little to give us any privacy. We had to change in the small bathroom and turn off the lights so no one can see us. Even so we were able to see everyone who walked by. The actual room was good, beds were comfortable and had clean sheets and towels. My main suggestion is to buy curtains for all the rooms to enhance privacy.

The whole place was dirty, the flower beds and greenspace had just been weed-wacked, no other landscaping. My room was nasty, nasty, nasty. Human hairs in shower, on clean towels, and in sink. Room was hot, and thermostat had been glued down so you could not move it. Nothing was refilled after I used it, coffee, towels, glasses, cups, etc. I had to ask for it. Carpet was dirty, with obvious spills on it that had not been even wiped up. If I had not been in that town for a meeting, I would have left before I even unpacked, but I had to stay. Oh, and no place to hang clothes up except in the doorway of the bathroom.
