Hotel room was smelly, floor had stains throughout halls and room. The room was unclean. Room rates were very expensive for the quality. Front desk made a mistake and told us we were paying for 2 nights, then informed us that we had been undercharged, when we asked for a refund because of their mistake, or new room (that was clean), they refused. Do not let the lobby mislead you, the hotel is a dive. Local calls need a $*deposit. Security is sketchy too, with several exit doors left open to the public 24 hours a day. I did not feel safe in this hotel (especially since there was a murder in the hotel a few weeks before I stayed there). I also did not feel like a valued customer. With more impressive hotels within very short walking distance, I would advise you not to waste your time or your money.

Terrible. Customer service from the front desk was awful, the rooms were smelly, dated, and moldy. The diner was closed at wierd times. Another family member was staying in the same hotel at the same time and her bed was peed in when she got in it. Staff arguing about what you paid and how. I would never recommend this property to anyone, for any reason. This hotel is not cheap! Horrible! There is nothing positive to say about this hotel. I have stayed in many Travelodges and I have never been to such a dump. There are many hotels in Thunder Bay, pass this one by!

The room was on the first floor with in-house access but it also had an outside door which made me uncomfortable. The bed reminded me of a trampoline. The room was clean but the carpet was not vacuumed. Towels were rough and there were no extra towels or pillows. The main dining room was closed for dinner and breakfast. The coffee shop (open for dinner and breakfast), was adequate but noisy. Desk staff were well trained and we did appreciate the immediate free shuttle to the airport. Overall, I would try another area hotel.
