We stayed at the travel Lodge near Newport, RI for one night this past weeked. for the price we paid for our stay honestly we couldnt ask for more. The room was super clean. It is rare that you walk into a hotel room & it actually smells really good, which of course our rom did. The breakfast was unexpectedly great and it was included. The Staff was helpful & friendly. It was super close to everywhere we wanted to go. I give this place 4 stars.

We booked this Inn because of the great reviews but we were terribly disappointed. The room stunk like it was 100 years old and when I lifted up the blanket I found hair and nose hair on the sheet. How much more disgusting can it ever get? Oh yes, it can. The towels smelled like rotten and I found another nose hair in the towel. Next to the night stand, under the bed was an super old oreo cookie. It was simply disgusting. I cannot believe how to charge more than 15bucks for such an outdated room??? Will never come back!

The hotel was immaculate and the staff was first rate. It was an excellent location, just minutes from downtown historic Newport. I would stay there again and highly reccomend it to others who might find the Newort area as a destination.

The motel and property were very clean, the room was well maintained and clean. The location is not far from the Newport Bridge and URI. Will not hesitate to stay there again when visiting my daughter at URI!
