Due to bad weather I had to call & delay our motel stay by 24 hours. Even though I called at 11:30pm the desk clerk was quick & efficient about making the change. At check-in the motel desk staff was involved in taking cash payments from several individuals and therefore slow to wait on me. But when they finally did get to me they were friendly and took care of the business of payment & room assignment. Check-in could use some improvement. Parking lot was well lighted, convenient to room, and safe. Lobby, hallways, and room were clean. Bath, TV & limited channel selection, lights, heating/air conditioning all worked fine. Shower/tub/sink/commode all pretty clean. Room was quiet & we got a good nights rest before continuing our trip south. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Non-smoking room had no nasty odor. Nothing offensive about the air quality. Breakfast was meager compared to some - no sausage/bacon, but the coffee was hot and tasty so I took a cup for the road. Just the usual boxed pastries/bagels/cereals and a limited amount of fresh fruit - banana's, apples. All-in-all we felt this motel offered fairly good value for the price paid $ including tax. In the recent past I've paid a lot more, and received a lot less. We would stay at the Cape Girardeau Victorian Inn again.

Friendly helpful employees wonderful reception and checkout my 4 year old niece throughly enjoyed the pool and the inside poolside room also the milk and cookies. Will definately stay there many times in the future. You feel as if you were in a much pricer than you are

This was my first time staying in a Victorian Inn. I was unsure about it at first but once i got there my doubts were gone. My room was great and the fact that they had an indoor pool and whirl pool made the stay even more enjoyable for us all. Not to mention, the breakfast was great. Overall, our stay was very nice and we would gladly stay there again.

They have the best service, and are a large facility. Great breakfast with something for everyone. They have a large indoor pool and jacuzzi, along with a smaller jacuzzi down the hall. I didn't notice the smaller one the first time I went, but most people use the large one, so the small one is empty. Pleasant for a couple. Very quiet and relaxing, next to Red Lobster resturant.
