With so many great hotels in downtown, the W was a let down. View of the adjacent roof, even though the hotel was not full. Parking $* a day and internet $* a day - not worth the cost for a so-so room. Nothing special here except a big price tag.

Got a room for a bachelorette party, security was good (got in trouble for being too loud at 630 PM) The room was nice and had a comfy window sofa for fifth person to sleep on. Our room overlooked the Seattle library. Would definately stay again. Great drinks, but pricey, at bar in lobby. Music in elevator was fun, felt like being in a movie.

So glad we stayed here. Great location, beautiful and friendly atmosphere. Great restaurant staff. We upgraded the room prior to arrival and had an incredible view; Space Needle, water, mountains. All of course in the distance but well worth it. We were on the 24th floor. If looking for great breakfast or lunch treats check out Specialty's about a block away and the french bakery across the street. Incredible! I am glad I did not listen to some other reviews of this property about the staff and how unhelpful they were. My experience was the complete opposite. fast check in and check out, even registered for my return flight using the computer service offered in lobby. Also the concierge was always enthusiastic and helpful. If you're looking for good food and a great happy hour check out Elliot's Restaurant on the water 4-5 blocks away. Enjoy.

The W is hip and cool, and in a great location (walking distance to everything). We upgraded to a corner room which had floor-to-ceiling windows and a rgeat view. I imagine the quality of the view varies depending on floor and corner, but the room itself was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was big and clean, and the amenities were great (albeit a pricey mini-bar). The staff was friendly and helpful, although there were times when we had to wait to get our questions asked and answered. Once we got to them though, their recommendations were spot on.

Weekend getaway with wife and 2 kids. We live in the Puget Sound region. Rented 2 rooms online Charged again for the same 2 rooms on checkout. Valet Parking was overpriced at $41/night. Had to pay for internet as usual $29.90/2 days Slavish devotion to image & fashion in the hotel trumps a traveler's need for functionality. For example, their trendy check in lobby only had only one check in clerk to service the entire hotel! Hotel Restaurant is closed on Sunday nights. Look elsewhere
