Staff was very nice and accomodating. The room I chose was advertised as having two queen beds. At check-in the room had two double beds. Room was nice and clean, roomy and had a jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was the traditional breads, cold and hot cereal, donuts, and juices. Would stay again

We stayed a week in March. The hotel has a very nice inner courtyard for lounging etc w/o one having to be right in the pool area. It is clean and well kept up. We had a balcony room which we loved. All seemed perfect UNTIL the dog show group showed up. Now, I am a dog lover, and watching Afghans perform their show routines was interestiing, BUT the group overtook our side of the motel for Thursday night thru Sunday late afternoon. All the ground floor rooms had multiple dog kennels set up outside their sliding glass doors...the dogs barked, or worse, whined and wimpered all day when they were not out , and well into the night. During the day the kennels were scattered all over the courtyard and of course the dogs did their 'thing' so going barefoot (obviously a fav Az vacation ritual for us) was out of the question. Worse, the group loudly partied late afternoon and all evening. Drinking and VERY loud laughter and raunchy talking etc directly under our balcony. They set up their individual tables and chairs on the sidewalks. Half of our weeklong stay was awful. Of ourse, we complained and asked for another room, but all that was available was a room in another building which would have had no windows and no balcony. I feel the hotel should have at least offered us a discount or a few nights free stay on a future visit or discounted this visit, but they did not..we asked at least 3 diff desk people if the show was the same date each year and no one could tell us. Repeat business does not seem to be their priority.

It is a 70's style motel. Grounds are nice, the staff is nice and the rooms were clean. They definitely need to remodel the rooms and replace some of the beds, especially the king size beds. We stayed in 3 different rooms. I do not recommend paying extra for the Jacuzzi. They are not that great and the Jacuzzi rooms are smaller. The regular rooms are pretty good size. Get the 2 queens instead of the king. Sound proofing is not very good so stay upstairs near one end and it will be quieter. There may not be any better motels in the area but we are going to see what is available the next time we visit our friends in Mesa.

I felt as if I was spending the night at my grandparents house in the summer of 1978! I don't mean that in a good way. The carpet was stained. The chairs were stained. The bed and the bathroom was clean. So I stayed.
