  We scheduled a last minute trip and this actually turned out to be a pleasant experience. The staff was kind and attentive to all guests. Room service was prompt which was suprising since there was a group of cheerleaders staying there! The room was decent and my only issue was the clock that didn't work and the fruit served during breakfast was a bit old. Overall, we were satisfied.

  With the name Wyndham in its name, I tried this limited service hotel for the second time. Both times by stay, it met the high expectations I had. The only thing that this hotel needs is a Restaurant but that why its a limited service hotel with lots of free amenities such as free breakfast that all the full service hotels want you to pay for. It makes up for the restaurants that are within half a mile radius. Lots to choose from. I wish they were in walking distance but still lots of selection in the area.

  Hotel was within half a mile from great restaurants and willowbrook mall. Would definately stay here again if I get a chane to come to houston. First time for staying at Wingate By Wyndham as I didn't know much about the franchise but it was worth the try.

• Not a Good Place to Stay for a Week

  I stayed here with 3 friends for a week. I wouldn't stay here again b/c the room was a bit dingy, and we ended up in a room that was a non-smoking but smelled like smoke. Some of the furniture was also broken, and there was mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom. Driving up to the hotel was very unimpressive b/c the sign looked as if it had been hit by a car, and hotel backs up to an apartment complex where people were sitting outside lounging on their patios so if the drapes were open, you could wave to say hello.
