I recently stayed @ the Palm Aire and terrible experience at check in and it continued. We requested a pool view and were told if we waited 2 more hours they could accommodate us. We did and they did not. We got the parking lot. We were also told at check in to put our valuables in the room safe because it was not a good idea to leave valuables out in the open in the room. Our room did not have a safe. We did not feel safe at that point. They also had work being done around the pool that we were not aware of when we booked the trip. That lasted all week. Never AGAIN

It is a beautiful resort with all the amenities they advertise. The suite was clean and the building we were in was very clean. They did forget to leave any towels in our suite so we had to go get our own. They keep the property very well maintained. But please beware that this is a timeshare resort and when they ask you to take a ""survey"" which will only take an ""hour of your time"", they are lying. They actually even promised us it was a survey, it would only take an hour and there would be no high pressure sales going on. All lies. There was no survey and we got out of there after 2 hours and it's only because we were so angry that we walked out. There are only 2 ways you get out of that room with a dozen or so sales people - you either buy a time share with them or you get angry and leave. There is no other way out of there. And when I say get angry, I mean you have to get really angry because they keep talking to you, following you as you try to leave and getting other people to come and talk to you and follow you. They even admitted their job is to keep people for however long it takes to seal the deal. We told them that we were looked in the eye and lied to and because of that they lacked any credibility, that even if we were interested, they could never be trusted. Also, unplug your phones in your room because they will keep calling you until you take their ""survey"". But even with that unpleastantness, we would go back, we just wouldn't take the ""survey"".

My husband and I went to Palm-Aire Wyndham Hotel for our honeymoon, and we had a great time. Palm-Aire is located in a convenient location, 15 mins away from the beach, 20 mins away from riverfront bars and clubs, and if you just want to stay in doors you can do so at the hotel because everything is made available to you at the resort from miniature golf, to tennis to just lying around in the sun. Whatever it is that your looking for is conveniently available to you at this resort. I hope to go back to Palm- Aire next year.
