Lodging in Atlantis Casino Resort
Location. A tropical oasis in the midst of the arid Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa Reno in Reno, Nev., is adjacent to the Reno Sparks Convention Center and two miles from the Reno Tahoe International Airport. Complimentary airport shuttle services are provided by the hotel and city busses are available for transportation to the downtown area for a fee.
Hotel Features. The whimsically designed Atlantis Seafood Steakhouse serves up flaming coconut prawns, grilled onoma rack of lamb and flambéed desserts, while MonteVigna Italian Ristorante boast a 5,000 bottle wine cellar with private reserve wine selections. Five additional restaurants are available, as is Reno's only Concierge Tower with 27 floors providing meeting space and a business center with high speed Internet access for a fee. Pampering treatments at the European style health spa include the Pure Fiji Tropical Hydrating Wrap, Chocolate Massage and an array of salon services. Cardiovascular and weight equipment is provided, as is access to personal trainers. Recreational amenities include 32,000 square feet of casino action, a smoke free poker room, live music at the Center Stage Cabaret, waterfalls, thatched roof huts, palm trees, multiple spa tubs and jungle sounds around the indoor/outdoor pools.
Guestrooms. The Dolphin, Luxury and Concierge Towers host the property's 1,000 guestrooms. The Dolphin Tower rooms offer mahogany furnishings, upholstered chairs and décor in bright yellow and mossy green, while the Luxury Tower rooms offer mountain or city views from floor to ceiling windows, light wood furnishings and tropical accents. The Concierge Tower rooms contain marble accents, butler service and designer toiletries. All accommodations feature cable television and wireless Internet access for a fee. Additional accommodations are located at the property's adjacent pet friendly motor lodge.
Expert Tip. The hotel completed a three million dollar renovation of its air handling system in an effort to provide the freshest air, indoors. There is also a smoke free sky terrace.
