Monticello Casino & Raceway Review
Monticello Raceway, is located at 204 Route 17b in Monticello, New York, about 90 minutes from New York City. The venue became Monticello Casino and Raceway on June 20, 2004 with the addition of 40,000 square feet of casino floor space and over 1,000 slots games from the New York Lottery. They've recently added electronic roulette with more electronic table games promised in the near future.
You can still bet on live harness racing at least four days a week, 52 weeks out of the year as well.
The facility is owned by Empire Resorts, open from 10am until 4am daily, features two bars, one with live entertainment, a food court, buffet, and The Terrace Restaurant which is only open Fridays and Saturdays.

The 40,000 square foot casino space at Monticello Casino and Raceway features well over 1,000 video lottery terminals (VLTs) featuring slots games and other action. They have recently added electronic roulette with more electronic table games coming soon!
Live harness racing has been going on here since the 1950's and you can still watch and bet on the horses at least four days a week all throughout the year.

Sunday they offer a brunch beginning at 11am with the dinner menu beginning at 2pm.

Monticello Raceway features live harness racing on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday all year long with the occasional stakes race or holiday event on other days. Post times are 12:25pm January and February, 12:50pm March through October, 12:25 November and December, and 5:30pm on July 4th.
Monticello Harness Horsemen’s Association exercised their right in early 2014 to stop simulcast signals, which ended, for now anyway, simulcast betting at the venue.
