CASINO IS CLOSED
Although it's a small room (two tables), the action can be very good and very profitable on the two tables they spread games on. The offer weekly / weekend tourneys and currently spread $2/3 NL with a $50 to $200 buy in.
Owned and run by a local to the Cameron Park area with 99% of the players being local to the area. Everyone pretty much knows one another from playing in the game so regularly.
There are some sharp and solid players who play in the game regularly, and there are some complete rookies ...err "donkeys" who play the game as well.
Atmosphere: Being that they only have 2 tables, space in not an issue. Nice tables, comfortable chairs, well lit, etc. Limitations can be the game will run slow at times.
Dealers: Currently the dealers are solid and quick for not having shufflers in the tables. Very friendly, and keep the games running well. A while back they had a few dealers that shouldn't have been dealers. With a new Floor Manager that came in to run the room, the games are much better run and the game is much better on all accounts.
Food: There is food and drink. Black Sheep also has a bar, and there is a kitchen where you can order / get food from. Next door is a great Mexican food rest. and a liquor store for anything else you may need.
Service: Wait list is small in that they only have two tables. Average wait time is probably something in the 20 to 30 minute range on the weekends. Weekday, with one table running it can go as far as 1 hour. You can call in to put your name on the board for the wait list.
Comps: No comps.
Actually, I got a Royal Flush in the room once, and they gave me a "Black Sheep Casino" T-Shirt.
