Poker in South Korea

Your poker tour of Far East Asia is going well we hope. As usual, some good poker games mixed with a healthy assortment of not so good poker games and absolutely fantastic poker games. Now you find yourself wondering what could lie in store for you in South Korea or the Republic of Korea. You've checked the listings, you know that there are a number of casinos in South Korea, but none of them list poker rooms specifically. Do you want to venture into the country without knowing if you'll even be able to find a poker game to play in? There are casinos in Sokch O City but no poker listed. The Cheju Kal Hotel Casino and the Shilla Chejus Casino in Cheju City both offer other casino table games like Baccarat, Blackjack and Roulette, but again, no poker.

There is always the chance of finding home poker games or poker in unlisted card houses, but who knows? The Home Games Forum might turn up some leads. If a poker game in your area isn't listed, perhaps you'll end up starting one of your own. We would like to hear about how it works out for you. If you venture on into South Korea to give their casinos a shot, let us know about your experience in the South Korean Casinos Forum. Maybe you won't venture into South Korea, but you played in some other casinos and card houses in Asia...let us know how that went for you in the Asian Casinos Forum.

If you just want to talk about poker with other poker players you can do that in the Poker Forum. You can find these forums as well as forums for all other casino games, casino locations and all things gambling listed in the World Gambling Forums Directory.

Exercise extreme caution when traveling abroad and especially when gambling. If you do venture outside of casino gambling to find a poker game, familiarize yourself with local laws and gambling regulations to assure that you are not going to be breaking the law. Very few locations on the planet allow ignorance as an excuse for breaking the law. It is your responsibility to ensure that what you are participating in is in fact legal.

That said, have a great time on your quest for poker games in South Korea. We wish you the best of luck and all the success you can stand. We look forward to hearing all about your experience.
