Accomodations at Hyatt Regency Lake Las Vegas Resort Spa and Casino Baraka
Location. Rising nine stories above the sandy shores of Lake Las Vegas, Loews Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nev., is located two miles from Lake Mead Recreational Area and 17 miles from the electric pulse of the Las Vegas Strip.
Hotel Features. This resort offers dining options that include Marssa that features Pacific Rim inspired cuisine, a sushi bar and an extensive wine list. Nightly entertainment is presented at the Arabesque Lounge. Café Tajine specializes in Moroccan and New American fare, and the Marrakesh Express serves gourmet coffees, light sandwiches and snacks. A business center contains four computer stations. High speed wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee. Body treatments at Spa Moulay include the Moroccan Rhassoul Clay Wrap, the Honey Coconut Body Glow and the Macadamia Indulgence. A sauna lies adjacent to the fitness center, where yoga classes and cardio and strength training equipment are available. Kayaks, fly fishing equipment and boat rentals are offered at the lake. Recreational amenities include a spa tub, two seasonal outdoor pools with a waterslide, volleyball and a putting green. The hotel's camp hosts youth activities. A water taxi transports guests to MonteLago Village's casino, shops and restaurants.
Guestrooms. Detailed in the Mediterranean style, the 493 guestrooms contain hand painted Moroccan headboards and armoires, arched windows that open to mountain views, and décor in shades of gold, sienna and teal blue. All accommodations feature beds with Sealy Posturepedic mattresses, down blankets, triple sheeting and an array of pillows. Bathrooms feature marble vanities, bathrobes and Bloom toiletries. Room amenities offer cable television and high speed wired and wireless Internet access for a fee. Accommodations include mini fridges and laptop compatible, in room safes.
Expert Tip. During summer months, the hotel hosts weekend children's story times. Following story time, the hotel shows the swim up movie version of the story at the hotel's pool.
