More than fifty pink flamingos have been found dead in southern France, victims of freezing weather conditions that have gripped Europe over the past weeks.

The birds were found dead in the Aude region of Southern France today. After ten days of sub-zero temperatures, they had been left so weak they couldn't fly away from the cold.
