WAVELAND, Miss. (AP) - Waveland officials appear to be gearing up for a battle over a new $6 million police station. The Sun Herald reports ( http://bit.ly/zkCcCE ) city officials recently issued a "stop work" order to the project's contractor after hearing concerns by the architect that certain aspects of the work isn't up to code.
