Located at 6915 South Durango Drive near the 215 Beltway in Las Vegas, Nevada, just nine miles from both the Strip and Harry Reid International Airport,  Durango Casino & Resort opened to the public on December 5, 2023. One of the multiple gambling properties owned and operated by Station Casinos, the $780 million casino resort boasts a 209-room & suite hotel, 15 bars and restaurants including an 11-stall food hall and a 24-hour indoor-outdoor sportsmen’s lounge and entertainment venue, along with 20,000 square feet of meeting and convention space with unique amenities and stunning outdoor venues like the Bel-Aire Backyard, a resort-style pool with private cabanas, drinks and an elevated menu. 

Durango's 83,000 square feet of casino space offers 2,200 of the latest slots and more than 60 table games, alongside separate High Limit Slot and Table Games rooms for high rollers, and a state-of-the-art sports book.

The resort’s parking garage will have 40 electric vehicle charging stations, while multiple bike lanes will access the property where ample bicycle parking will be provided. Parking is free.

According to Stations Casinos, two staples, movie theaters and bowling lanes, as well as an entertainment venue, could come in later phases of the development. 

Owner/operator Station Casinos is also responsible for other Vegas-area casino resorts such as Red Rock Resort Spa, Green Valley Ranch Resort, Boulder Station, Palace Station, and Sunset Station.

  • Serving: Seafood, Steakhouse

Helmed by Chef Danny Ye, the former corporate executive chef for Catch Hospitality Group, Durango’s steakhouse, Nicco’s Prime Cuts & Fresh Fish, serves USDA Prime, dry-aged, and Wagyu cuts of steak. The seafood is the star of the show, with Dover Sole cooked just until the outside is lightly crispy and served with meuniere sauce. Yellowtail crudo is perfectly citrusy with a hint of heat and super creamy mashed potatoes are made Joel Robachon-style with lots of butter. Bar & Lounge hours vary.

The George Sportsmen's Lounge

Located adjacent to the STN Sportsbook, The George Sportsmen's Lounge is part sports bar, part 24-hour restaurant. The venue faces features 4,200 square feet of digital LED screen space, and impressive menu of elevated American fare and a spectacular outdoor patio. Inside there are banquettes and tables that wrap around a central bar, where customers can order drinks and food at all hours, with breakfast options like banana bread served with caramelized brown butter and a breakfast sandwich with sausage and bacon on a flaky, buttery croissant. The George also serves some fare you'd expect at a sports bar such as beer-brined wings, fried mozzarella, and bacon cheeseburgers. Sports fans catching the day’s big game can also opt for a large platter of charcuterie with meats, cheeses, spreads, and pretzel crostinis, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, and a hot honey chicken sandwich. 

George also boasts an outdoor area with a bar, a lawn with oversized games, lounge seating, and three massive TV screens. Guests can also place sports bets at self-serve wagering kiosks within the lounge.

Mijo

  • Serving: Mexican

Mijo offers a menu of diverse flavors of coastal Mexican cuisine, highlighting prime meats, whole fish, street food favorites with a twist, and desserts. Guests can choose from dishes such as charred octopus with white beans, coconut ceviche, and butter poached lobster tacos. The cocktail menu stars tequila and mezcal with bartenders and Mijo’s tequila experts curating the drink selections. The restaurant features multiple rooms and an outdoor patio that are meant to be representative of different areas of Mexico. If you look hard enough, you will also find Mijo's -drenched in red- 1,000 sq ft speakeasy-style lounge Wax Rabbit.

This California-inspired restaurant's menu offering ranges from Cali-style tacos and fresh vegetable plates and salads to housemade pastas, pizzas crafted with California milled flour, entrees from the live-fire wood grill alongside an extensive California wine list, refreshing craft cocktails, zero-proof beverages, and more. With its beach house vibe, Summer House offers indoor and outdoor dining and is open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Located on the Southwest Valley resort's main floor, the centerpiece of the Durango Casino is the Bel-Aire Lounge, a chic cocktail bar and meet-up spot. Handcrafted cocktails and small plates such as the Blue Blossom, a mix of gin, violet syrup, lemon and yuzu juice, rose water, bitters, and egg whites, garnished with blue flowers. The Orange Sherbert blends vodka, cantaloupe syrup, coconut water, turmeric, and cinnamon orange tea, and is topped with a papaya lemon zest foam. Foodies will appreciate the selection of sweet and savory bites, featuring hamachi tostadas with chile cashew crema, bites of spicy tuna on crispy rice, and spicy Kobe sliders served with fries. DJs spin vinyl records spanning rock, hip-hop, and pop music genres at the hip, upscale bar.

Eat Your Heart Out is Durango's unique food hall spanning 25,000 square feet and home to 11 unique food stalls from new-to-market concepts, including Los Angeles staple Irv’s Burgers; New York’s Prince Street Pizza and its Sicilian pies; Ai Pono Café, serving Hawaiian street food-style plates; local favorites such as Shang Artisan Noodle and Yu Or Mi Sushi.
