NEWS: The Belle of Baton Rouge has officially rebranded as Bally’s Baton Rouge Casino and Hotel, following a multimillion-dollar overhaul revealed on Oct. 27, 2025. The new 232,000 sq ft land-based project is set to open in December, pending final approval from the Louisiana Gaming Control Board.

The transformed complex spans 25,000 square feet of gaming space, featuring modern Vegas-style slot machines and table games. A highlight of the new offering is a 46-foot video wall sportsbook, complete with 14 self-service betting kiosks. Guests can also expect a refreshed entertainment experience across the property.

Paying tribute to the building’s history as a train station, the revamped Dining Depot will house several new food and drink options. These include Hearth Pizzeria, Shuck’s Oyster Bar, Vintage 1806 curated wine bar, Maritime Coffee, and The Terrace, an open-air dining area overlooking the gaming floor.

Additional amenities include Pelican Pins, a two-lane bowling alley, and The Barge and Embers Casino & Bar, both offering upscale cocktails, craft beers, and premium gaming lounges.

General Manager Richard Cannon stated the project was designed to “light up downtown” and breathe new life into the riverfront district.

Adjacent to the casino, the 10-story Bally’s Baton Rouge Hotel is already open, offering 242 guestrooms including 63 luxury suites, a modern fitness center, a VIP lounge, and upgraded accommodations for guests.
