Hollywood Casino and Hotel Aurora is located at 2500 N Farnsworth Ave on an 18.7-acre site, adjacent to the Chicago Premium Outlets Mall, after PENN Entertainment (formerly Penn National Gaming) moved the casino from its location on the Fox River in downtown Aurora, Illinois, where it had been home since opening in 1993. The grand opening of the relocated casino was held on June 24, 2026.

The contemporary venue brings gaming, dining, entertainment and resort-style amenities together in one destination. The property features a seven-story, 226-room hotel with 200 modern rooms and 26 stylish suites, an expanded Drift Spa Aurora, a state-of-the-art fitness center and an outdoor courtyard. 

Dining highlights include an Italian-California fusion restaurant and Boulevard Food & Drink Hall, featuring concepts from Stephanie Izard and other partners alongside local favorites and new options. For meetings and special occasions, the 12,000-square-foot event center hosts conferences, weddings and entertainment shows, while outdoor entertainment space adds another layer to the experience.

Open around-the-clock, the casino offers more than 1,200 gaming positions, including over 1,000 slots and video poker machines, plus 50-plus table games with high-limit baccarat. Guests can also visit the retail sportsbook, complete with wall-to-wall screens, live odds and a full-service bar and grill. Sorry, folks, there is no poker room at Hollywood Casino and Hotel Aurora.

The property also offers on-site electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for guests.

Located just inside the entrance from the casino’s free on-site parking garage, Sorella by Giada is, of course, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis' Italian steakhouse. The restaurant features a handmade pasta station, a bar area, table seating as well as outdoor dining options. The restaurant serves pasta dishes such as a signature lemon spaghetti with shrimp and lobster ravioli, as well as hand-cut steaks like a Piedmontese ribeye and a 28-ounce “bistecca alla fiorentina.”

Red Lotus Asian Kitchen

Located right off the casino’s baccarat room, Red Lotus boasts a menu of dishes like potstickers, Kung Pao chicken, lamb chops and egg rolls.

Visitors won't have any trouble finding The Sportsbook restaurant, as it sits right off the gaming floor. Sports fans can choose from a variety of traditional bar food with modern twists. The sportsbar/restaurant serves smash burgers, ribeye steak and salmon, along with the “Chitrocity," which is a hot dog wrapped in Italian beef, provolone, parmesan, giardiniera and marinara, wrapped in pizza crust, deep fried and sliced up!
