News  Owner SC Gaming LLC revealed on June 26, 2025, that Happy Valley Casino will be the name of the category 4 casino in the former Macy’s space at the Nittany Mall in College Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. The target opening date is April 2026. 

The $120 million project, located in a 94,000-square-foot space at the mall, will operate around the clock, seven days a week, and be smoke free. Subject to regulatory approval, the casino will feature up to 750 slot machines (600 at opening), 30 table games, sports betting, two eateries, including a sports-themed sit-down restaurant - Aces Social - with large-screen televisions, along with a centrally located bar that will service the restaurant and the gaming floor, and quick eats - Lucky Break Cafe - a quick-serve outlet similar to a food court.
