California State Fair Racing Review Jump to comments
For 3 weeks in July, the California State Fair holds horse racing at the Miller Lite Racetrack. Races start on July 8th, and run until the 24th. Post times are 1:15 PM, Fridays at 3:15 PM. The Governors Cup Stake is held on the 16th and draws a big crowd with some of the best horses in the state.
The fair itself is an attraction as well. There's so much to do, you'll need all 3 weeks of horse racing to see and do it all. Great shopping, food, drinks, rides and games for the kids, and so much more.
