Cherokee Tribal Bingo Review - CLOSED Jump to comments
The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians operates Cherokee Tribal Bingo in Cherokee, North Carolina. The high stakes parlor opened in 1982 after a federal court issued a decision that exempted Indian reservations from state limits on bingo prizes. The parlor currently runs a "Bonus Line Progressive" that accumulates until a player matches the 3 bold numbers on top of their card with the first 3 balls drawn. The progressive restarts at $500 and as of April 2, 2014 was at $19,000.
The tribe also owns Harrahs Cherokee Casino. Construction began on a second casino, Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel, in October 2013.
