Acquired in June 2023 from Kirkland-based Maverick Gaming by Chicago real estate investment firm Oak Street Real Estate Capital LLC, Chips Casino Lakewood is located in Pierce County, Washington, in the city of Lakewood. The $27 million deal for a single parcel property, located at 8200 Tacoma Mall Blvd #B and 8200 Tacoma Mall Blvd, comprised two buildings spanning 7,817 square feet and 13,807 square feet, Chips Casino Lakewood and Palace Casino Lakewood. For the purpose of this profile, we will focus on the former. 

Situated on the eastern end of the city near the Interstate 5 ramp at South 84th Street, Chips Casino Lakewood is open 24/7 and features a variety of table games including Baccarat, Spanish 21, Ultimate Texas Hold'Em, High Card Flush and Fortune Pai Gow Poker, along with one restaurant (shared with Palace Casino) serving breakfast and international fare including American, Chinese and Vietnamese menu selections and a full-service bar.
