New Zealand's first casino, Christchurch Casino opened in 1994 and is majority owned by Queenstown-based leisure and entertainment company Skyline Enterprises. The 43,998 sq ft (4,087.5 m2) multi-level property has two casual dining options and a bar, in addition to an array of gaming options. Visitors who are 20 and older and are dressed "smart and neat" are able to choose from some 500 slot machines spread across two floors, nearly 40 gaming tables, including VIP and Privé, dedicated poker, baccarat and e-sports lounges, and live entertainment on weekends. 

There is also one TAB facility, which is located on the second floor, in the "Got Game" area. This is a non-smoking casino, however, there is an area for smokers located upstairs off the atrium area.

Customers can also join the Players Club loyalty program by presenting a current photo I.D. to the Players Club Desk on the main floor of the casino. Joining is free and benefits begin immediately. 

Parking is available at the Peterborough Street Car Park, and during casino operations the first two hours are free. Public rates apply between 4am-10am Monday to Sunday. Players Club members park free during casino operating hours.
