Emerald Downs is a Thoroughbred racetrack located south of Seattle at 2300 Emerald Downs Drive in Auburn, Washington. The venue is  fan friendly, family friendly and gives great focus to the safety of all athletes - equine and human. The live racing season features the Longacres Mile, or simply "The Mile" every year on the one mile track, a Grade III race.

The track offers live Thoroughbred racing from mid April through the end of September from Friday through Sunday as well as holidays most of the season. Patrons can watch and bet on 8 races on week nights, and 10 races per race weekend.

In addition to live racing, Emerald Downs offers simulcast wagering year round in the Quarter Chute Cafe featuring stakes races and others for real money betting. Visitors must be 18+ to place bets on any parimutuel races.

Quarter Chute Cafe

The Quarter Chute Cafe at Emerald Downs may well be the only dining venue in the country that lets patrons get up close and personal to enjoy the activity that goes on behind the scenes. You will need a valid I.D. to enter the cafe and will be given the best views possible to the live races. The simulcast center is also located in the Quarter Chute to enjoy during the off-season, but when the  live racing season begins you will get to watch the horses training and personally get to know the jockeys, trainers, owners - all without forking over $12,500 to join the Turf Club!

Enjoy a full breakfast menu including specials. A lunch and dinner menu features burgers, sandwiches, and baskets. Or you can try one of the dinner plates for under ten bucks featuring the Cuisine of Mexico.
