Fairmount Park Casino & Racing is located at 9301 Collinsville Road in Collinsville, Illinois near Saint Louis, and is actually part of the city's metro area. The track hosts Thoroughbred flat racing but discontinued harness racing in 1999. It is the only active horse racing venue outside of the Chicago area. The track is one mile long and flat dirt.
In March 2025, after a four-year rebranding as Fanduel Sportsbook and Racing, Accel Entertainment brought back the name Fairmount Park in time for the track's 100th anniversary. Accel Entertainment purchased the racetrack from Fanduel on December 2, 2024. The first race date for the 2025 season is April 22. Racing will begin at 1:30 pm on both Tuesdays and Saturdays, and the last race will be on November 1, 2025.
Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy the scratch-made cuisine at three concessions with a full-service restaurant and bar opening in June 2025. The Fifty/50 Group will allow Fairmount Park the ability to cater to corporate events, casual parties, etc., as Fairmount continues to grow its footprint over the next few years.
