Located next to Rogers Place in the Ice District in Downtown Edmonton, Alberta, the Grand Villa Edmonton Casino is a 60,000 square foot $32 million casino that is owned and operated by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment. The casino offers live music and 30,000 square feet of gaming including more than 500 of the latest slot machines, 22 VLT’s slots and 24 live table games featuring EZ Baccarat, Blackjack, Craps, Pai Gow Tiles, Roulette and Ultimate Texas Hold'em. The casino also features high limit and private gaming salons for Baccarat and high-limit Blackjack.

In addition, the casino features 7 dining options inclduing upscale restaurants, quick eats and bars that include Match Eatery & Public House, Atlas Steak + Fish and Vera’s Burger Shack, Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt, Sbarro Pizza and Starbucks serving a variety of foods and beverages.

Grand Villa Casino Edmonton is attached to the east end of Rogers Place arena and the Community Rink, which is adjacent to the arena, and was the first portion of the Ice District, a $2.5 billion mixed-use sports and entertainment district being developed on 25 acres of land in Downtown Edmonton, Alberta, to be completed and open to the public.

The casino is located adjacent to the JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District, which is expected to open in March 2019. One of only three JW Marriott branded hotels in Canada, it boasts Edmonton's largest hotel ballroom featuring 10,500 sq. ft, 21 ft ceilings.
