Hard Rock International's $310 million development at 7801 E. State Street at the I-90 exit ramp in Rockford, Illinois, celebrated its grand opening on August 29, 2024. Phase 1 of the 180,000 square foot Hard Rock Casino Rockford features a 64,000 square foot gaming floor with approximately 1,300 slot machines, 50 live dealer table games like blackjack, roulette and craps, including a poker room and six-table room dedicated to Baccarat and electronic tables. There is also a full-service in-person sportsbook with self-service kiosks and live betting windows to wager on a wide array of professional sports.

Other amenities include the 23,000-square-foot Hard Rock Live venue with seating for up to 2,000, nine bars and restaurants, including a Hard Rock Café, VIP Lounge, and a 16,000-square-foot concert seating area. Hard Rock Casino Rockford offers 24/4 gambling. 

Phase 2 of the development will reportedly include a 200-250 room hotel in 2025.
