Hoosier Park opened its doors in 1994 offering world-class horseracing in Anderson, Indiana on a 7/8-mile oval horse track and later constructed a casino at the venue. The casino was inaugurated in June 2008 and covers an area of 172,000 square feet, nearly 200,000 square feet after a $40 million expansion was completed in Jan. 2024. Currently, there are more than 1,450 slot machines, 40 table games, and a High Limits Room, which has been expanded to include table games, a bar area, and restrooms. Live dealer table games were added on January 1, 2020. 

The 54,000-plus sq ft casino gaming floor features multiple gaming areas including a non-smoking slot area, high limit gaming area, and a dedicated Caesars Sportsbook. All areas are equipped with a state-of-the-art air filtration system making it a comfortable environment for non-smoking clientele. The racecourse offers in-season harness racing from March to December and year-round simulcasting and off-track betting. 

Visitors will also find multiple dining options, from grab-and-go to fine dining, and bar/lounge venues, indoor and outdoor live entertainment and concert venues, and a gift shop.

The racino has become one of the most popular gambling venues near Indianapolis and has received several awards that include Best Entertainment, Customer Service, Dining and Gaming.

Hoosier Park has partnered with a number of area hotels that provide complimentary shuttle service to Harrah's Hoosier Park.

Harrah's Hoosier Park Racing & Casino has been owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment Corporation since acquiring it in 2018.

Homestretch Steakhouse

Dash Cafe

Open 7 days a week, Dash Cafe is the place for grab-and-go and tasty hot off-the-grill items like burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, hot dogs, chili cheese fries, nachos, soup, salad, etc. There are plenty of fast-casual options to satisfy most cravings without having to leave the property or make a reservation. 

 

 

Slice Pizzeria

Choose from New York-style pizza by the slice or the whole pie, along with classic Caesar salad, breadsticks, and frozen treats like ice cream sundaes. 

Homestretch Clubhouse Dining

Enjoy trackside dining and live racing action at Homestretch Clubhouse, which offers a great view of the track and your choice of an a la carte menu featuring soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches and entrées including chicken Alfredo, steak and meatloaf, or a tasty buffet during live racing. Double R Bar

Located in the casino, Double R Bar is a full-service bar that serves hand-crafted cocktails and your favorite ice-cold beers and is the ideal place to watch live racing and sporting events via multiple hi-def big screens.

Open daily from 7am till 3am.

The Terrace Showroom

The 900-seat Terrace Showroom plays host to some of the biggest names in entertainment, music, ranging from classic rock and country to Motown, and comedy. The venue is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting. It also offers luxurious mini-suites, full-service bars and pre-event dining room.

Outdoor Music Center

The Outdoor Music Center is a concert venue that can accommodate up to 4,200 seated guests. The venue features large LCD screens offering countless drinking and dining outlets and is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor, live summer concerts about 43 miles from Indianapolis. 

Pegasus Lounge

Located in the Terrace, Pegasus Lounge features a full-service circular bar featuring a wide variety of imported and domestic beers and cocktails. It's the perfect place to enjoy an adult beverage overlooking the track or from your seat at the bar where you can catch all the action on one of the HiDef TVs. Open daily from 11am.

The Shoe

Open during the racing season on Fridays and Saturdays, The Shoe is a premium full-service bar located in the lower-level grandstands and serves beers cocktails and ice-cold beer, and of course, live harness racing.

Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino's unique meeting spaces such as the upscale Homestretch Steakhouse, which overlooks the racetrack, the Terrace Showroom, and other versatile areas can accommodate everything from small business meetings to large corporate dinners and groups of 50 to 700.
