Indian Springs Hotel & Casino Review - CLOSED
Indian Springs Casino was located at 302 Tonopah Highway in the unincorporated town of Indian Springs, Nevada. The casino with 60 slot machines was open 24 hours a day and offered a motel, RV park, dining, tavern, and video arcade.
According to news reports, in 2011 the Air Force issued an environmental assessment to take over a nearly 17 acre parcel of land between Highway 95 (Tonapah Hwy) and Creech AFB on which the casino and other buildings were located. A final sale was completed in early October of 2014.
According to a document from the USAF entitled, "Acquisition of Resort Property Located in Indian Springs, Nevada - Environmental Assessment" (available here in .PDF format) this alternative was the most efficient way to establish a security buffer for the air base.
