Located on the Mescalero Apache Reservation in scenic Mescalero, New Mexico, Inn of the Mountain God's Resort & Casino is owned and operated by the Mescalero Apache Tribe and is approximately a 2-hour drive from El Paso and under 3 hours from Albuquerque. Visitors will find a 273-room and suites hotel with a host of amenities, as well as an Olympic-sized indoor pool, other heated pools, hot tub, fitness center and a full-service day spa

Other offerings include a travel center, a ski resort and a golf course, along with several dining and bars/lounge options, including an on-site craft brewery. There is also a full-service day spa, a spacious sports bar, indoor and outdoor entertainment, an 18-hole golf champion club, Topgolf Swing Suite, and 40,000 square feet of meeting and event space, with 15 conference rooms to accommodate parties of all sizes.

Located on the 4th floor, Wendell's Steak & Seafood is the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino's signature dining establishment, where guests can choose from fresh seafood, aged steaks, decadent desserts, and an impressive wine list. Both the restaurant and Wendell's Lounge, which is located adjacent to the restaurant, offer amazing views of Sierra Blanca, the Sacramento Mountains, Lake Mescalero and the 18-hole Championship Golf Course. The lounge is the perfect place to enjoy tasty appetizers, signature martinis, margaritas and cocktails. For the most part, reviews are above average. 

Red Hat Grille

Choose from all-day breakfast and dishes such as Southwest Philly, Hot Roast Beef, Apache Tacos, house-made desserts and more at the Red Hat Grille. The casual eatery is Located at Inn of the Mountain Gods’ sister property, Casino Apache, on Highway 70 about 6 miles away. 

Big Game Sports Bar

Located right inside the Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino, Big Game Sports Bar is open for lunch and dinner, serving appetizers, baskets, seafood, wild game entrees, soup and salads and a drinks menu including beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. 

Broken Arrow Tap House

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Broken Arrow Tap House offers 70 beers on tap, a full coffee bar and a full-service menu, including late-night. Situated between the hotel front desk and the Market at the Mountain food court, the 4,752 sq ft pub-style venue includes a full-service bar, a dining room, show kitchen, a coffee bar and shuffleboard.

Apache Tee is located next to the Golf Pro Shop, overlooking the 18-hole Ted Robinson-designed golf course. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the casual restaurant's menu offers everything from steak and eggs and buttermilk pancakes to hot subs, calzones and build-your-own pizzas. Golfers wanting a bit of sustenance before hitting the green can opt for a grab-and-go item. 

The Market at the Mountain

The food court at the Inn of the Mountain Gods offers a variety of casual eateries to satisfy most every craving. Choose from signature burgers (including plant-based burgers), fresh salads, house-made chili and spicy cheese at Wahlburgers; Japanese-inspired cuisine such as yakisoba bowls, grilled egg rolls and crisp fresh salads at Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill; New York-style pizza at Sbarro; quesadillas, street tacos, loaded nachos and fry bread at Warshield Tacos; freshly brewed coffee, lattes, iced mochas, hot and iced tea, Carrizo Canyon Cream Sodas, salads, sandwiches, fruit cups and ice cream at Carrizo Canyon Coffee House and for the adults - beers on tap, crafted cocktails and wine at Scouts Corner Bar.
