Following a soft opening on Nov. 30 2023, US-based Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority's $1.6 billion Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort located in the IBC-III area of Incheon International Airport in Yeongjong Island, off the west coast of the city of Incheon, South Korea, celebrated its grand opening on March 5, 2024. While the soft opening included non-gaming amenities only - since that time, INSPIRE has opened a 1,275-room 5-star hotel across three premier hotel towers, each with different concepts; INSPIRE Arena, the country's first multi-purpose arena with 15,000 seats; Aurora, and a 150 meter-long digital entertainment street.

Other amenities include INSPIRE signature restaurants, featuring Michael Jordan's Steak House; a year-round indoor water park in the form of a glass dome; state-of-the-art MICE facilities with the largest hotel ballroom in Korea; Splash Bay's swimming pool; and state-of-the-art MICE facilities; a massive outdoor park; shopping, entertainment and more. 

On Feb. 3, 2024, INSPIRE Casino, South Korea's largest foreigner-only casino opened. if you're fortunate enough to be a guest at the resort, you will likely spend some time at the state-of-the-art casino, where you can choose from 13 table game variants over 150 gaming tables, hundreds of slot machines featuring the latest games, and a 160-seat ETG (electronic gaming) Stadium.

 

Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort is the largest resort in Northeast Asia in the IBC-III area of Incheon International Airport, Yeongjong Island at build-out by 2031 through a total of four phases of development. The first phase of the resort facility features a 5-star hotel with three distinct towers and Villa (about 1,200 rooms), a 15,000-seat arena (a multi-purpose performance hall), an indoor water park and convention facilities, a foreigner-only casino, a digital street, and an outdoor family park.

Billed as the first multi-purpose indoor performance venue in South Korea, Inspire Arena has a total capacity of 15,000 seats and is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and video systems.
