La Jolla Trading Post & Casino Review
Owned and operated by the La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians, La Jolla Trading Post is located on Hwy 76 in Pauma Valley. The existing combination gas station and market will reportedly soon add "casino" to its name, as 75 state-of-the-art slot machines are to feature in half of the 5,000 square foot facility sometime soon. The facility will also include a deli and retail merchandise such as camping gear.
While recent news reports put the opening at the end of July, when WCD spoke with personnel at the facility on July 28, 2018, we were told the gaming positions had yet to be added and they did not know when they would be.
In addition to the gas station and market combo, the La Jolla Band also has other enterprises on its reservation land including La Jolla Zip Zoom and La Jolla Indian Campground.
Gaming at La Jolla Trading
No firm date yet as to when the facility is adding the approximately 75 gaming machines. WCD will keep you updated. Of the facility's 5,000 square feet, half of that will be used for the "casino" and some other amenities.
