Lower 89 Project Review Jump to comments
The Navajo Nation plans to build a new casino near Flagstaff on Highway 89, but details remain limited. The only confirmed feature is up to 300 gaming machines, as allowed by the Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compact. No timeline, additional gaming options, or amenities have been announced. The casino will be managed by Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise and located at the former Horsemen Lodge Steakhouse property, purchased in 2019.
The Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise has operated Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort just east of Flagstaff since 2013. The enterprise is also responsible for three casinos in New Mexico.
