Mardi Gras Casino is one of three casinos in Black Hawk, Colorado, owned by Twin River Worldwide Holdings Inc. The city is a historic mining settlement founded in 1859 during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush and is quite a gem.

Formerly the Golden Mardi Gras Casino, the venue opened in 2010 before being purchased along with Golden Gates Casino and Golden Gulch Casino by Affinity Gaming in 2012, then most recently acquired by the current owners (Twin River) in 2019. The trio of casinos has always shared ownership, with Mardi Gras and Golden Gates being physically connected. 

Combined, the three properties offer over 650 slot and video poker machines and 33 live-dealer tables. Visitors can partake in poker at the state-of-the-art poker room at Golden Gates Casino, which is accessible via skywalk. Guests can also choose from casual dining at Mardi Gras, including a cafe and deli, and drinks at two bars. 

While Mardi Gras Casino does not have a hotel, Isle Casino Hotel and Lady Luck Casino Hotel are within walking distance right on Main Street and offer plenty of lodging options.
