Update: Marina del Sol has received its municipal construction permit with construction works commencing immediately and completion of project set to be ready in 12 months. The property is expected to open end of year 2018 with the rest of the project ready by 2019.

Marina del Sol has been granted permission by the Resolution Council of the Chilean Gaming Board (SJC) to operate casino games in Chillán, Chile. According to the license agreement, Marina del Sol will have a term of two years to build the casino and three years to realize the committed additional works. Marina del Sol SA anticipates that the casino will be built earlier with projections estimating a period of 14 months. Furthermore, the complex will feature a 5-star hotel featuring modern amenities including an art gallery, artificial pond and a convention center.

Currently, Marina del Sol SA operates three casinos in Chile – Calama, Talcahuano and Osorno. Marina del Sol Chillán will become the fourth casino from the firm to operate in Chile.

Once complete, the casino will feature a selection of video slots, progressive jackpots and a selection of table games just like its other casinos available in Chile.
