MGM Grand Casino Review

MGM Macau is located on the waterfront in a prime location within the Nam Van gaming district of Macau. The hotel tower rising 35 floors above the street and glistens in the evening sun in three shades of opulent gold, blue, and bronze. The sea can be seen reflected and shimmering in the glass.

An architectural highlight of the property is the Grande Praça. The central plaza has a glass ceiling 75 feet above the floor and blends amazing architecture reflecting the diversity of macau. For instance the north end is modeled after Lisbon, Portugal's central train station that was built in the 1800's.

The hotel has nearly 600 rooms and suites, convention and meeting rooms, an outdoor infinity swimming pool, state-of-the-art spa, fitness center, eight restaurants offering cuisines from around the world, and a retail center featuring designer labels and opulent accessories and gifts.

The casino spans well over a quarter of a million square feet and features over 1000 slots and electronic gaming machines on the mass gaming floor and upscale baccarat venues on the second floor.

Gaming at MGM Macau

The mass gaming floor of the MGM Macau casino is simply huge, but more than that is it well designed and opulently appointed. Gaming tables are spaced properly rather than being crowded into pits and the slots and electronic table games are well positioned.
