One of the largest and certainly the most dramatic casino in Black Hawk is Ameristar Casino. This a great place to gamble on slots, blackjack, poker, roulette and craps. Great service and bars and the best hotel in town - its a 44 story tall hi-rise with incredible rooms.  Apart from the gambling, the casino also has live music and is located in a central part of town. It is currently being expanded again to add even more casino space. The hotel is enormous and luxurious.

The casino gaming floor is the largest in Black Hawk, Colorado (actually all of Colorado).  It has over 1,500 slot machines and video poker games, 20+ poker tables in a state of the art poker room, and over 20 other table games including craps, blackjack and roulette.

The Ameristar Black Hawk (formerly, the Mountain High Casino) has 22 poker tables and is open from 10a-2a, daily.  The room runs a NL tournament Mon-Thu at 2p and a Thu 7p Ladies only tournament.
